Toyota Innova 2012

Toyota India has decided to launch the revamped version of Innova refusing to give its rivals a slightest advantage to grab its market share.  However, the 2012 Toyota Innova will have relatively shallow makeover not quite penetrating to its engine ensemble. The Toyota Innova review here tells us clearly as to how deep the true makeover is. The redesigned grille with a chrome finish and reshaped headlamps will make up for most of the makeover.

The fog lamps are more easy on eye this time in circular shape against enhancing its classy image. The overall built is endowed with more character this time to look more massive than the outgoing model. The difference is so pronounced that a layman could make out the changes in a single glance. The interiors are also retouched but not to the effect of the exteriors. The new Toyota Innova price can be expected to creep up further. Talking about the rivals in the MPV segment, another competitor will jump on the bandwagon. Nissan India is strongly targeting Toyota Innova for its upcoming NV200 MPV.
The petrol and diesel engines will remain totally untouched. The MPV will carry the same 2.2 L diesel engine to produce a good amount of peak power of 102 Bhp and 250 Nm torque. The 2.0L i-VVT petrol engine is a better performer with the same 140 Bhp peak power output. Toyota Innova is the only MPV in the Rs 9-Rs 12 lakhs price segment which has proved to the best-selling model right from the beginning. The exteriors and the interiors have always been classier than any of its rivals in the segment. However, now there are entirely new set of rumours doing the rounds in the car industry circles. Apparently, the auto major is contemplating to launch a new SUV within the same price range to make a similar impact. A new low budget Etios SUV is being considered too, but Toyota probably intends to keep the details pretty much to itself for the moment.
