The LXi plus variant is new compared to the previous lineup and gets some additional features compared to the Lxi which includes front power windows and central locking which are not there on the LXi trim. The mid level Vxi/Vdi get audio system, electrically folding mirrors, parking sensors, new design wheel covers and new front bumper with silver inserts. The mid level Vdi gets ABS which is missing from the Vxi however. The top end models feature engine start-stop buttons, keyless entry, 15 inch alloy wheels, automatic climate control system and rear parking sensors to name a few. Official announcement from Maruti Suzuki on the same is expected this week.
New 2014 Maruti Swift Petrol gets a 1197 CC VVT Suzuki K12 series engine with a peak power of 83 BHP @6000 RPM and peak torque of 115 Nm @ 4000 RPM. The mileage of new Swift petrol as rated by ARAI is 20.4 KMPL.
New 2014 Maruti Swift Diesel has a 1248 CC DDiS multijet engine which is tuned to deliver a peak power of 74 BHP @ 4000 RPM and peak torque of 190 Nm @ 2000 RPM. In this tune, the engine now delivers a frugal 25.2 KMPL as rated by ARAI.
